The Office of Imbalances receives situations that call for change. It gives them a legible and shareable form so that they can be analysed, followed up and, where possible, acted upon.
You may submit a situation you have experienced or observed, on behalf of an individual, a collective, an organisation or a territory. You do not need to have a solution already: submitting it is precisely how the process of qualification begins.
What the Office does
Each submission becomes a working record. Depending on its nature, the situation may be analysed by the Donbat Institute, opened to contributions, or referred to people and organisations able to take it forward.
What happens to a submission
- The situation is recorded in an internal register.
- It is reviewed and qualified: context, scale, urgency and possibilities for transformation.
- A response or an appropriate form of support may be sought.
- If you authorise it, an anonymised version may enter the public Library of Imbalances after editorial review.
Ethical principles
- No submission is published automatically.
- Contact details and sensitive information remain in the internal register.
- You may request to remain anonymous.
- Any publication requires your consent and a manual review.
- Submitting a situation is not an emergency service. If there is immediate danger, contact the appropriate emergency services.
