Partners

The Donbat Institute is part of an ecosystem of organisations, practices and research initiatives working to shift the conventional frameworks of art, transmission, economics and intervention.

These partners support, extend or enable the development of the Institute through exchanges, collaborations, resources, research contexts and spaces for dissemination.

Biennale de Paris

The Biennale de Paris provides an important frame of reference for the Donbat Institute. Through its history, its forms of relocation, its research into invisual practices and its alternative modes of artistic existence, it offers an important framework for thinking about forms of art that cannot be reduced to the object, the exhibition or the market.

Within the Institute, this relationship takes shape notably through The Paris Biennale in Berlin, conceived as a situated intervention responding to the economic imbalances that are weakening Berlin’s art scene.

ENDA — École nationale d’art de Paris

ENDA is a space for training, research and experimentation that supports artistic practices situated at the intersection of art, research, education and action.

For the Donbat Institute, ENDA represents an essential working context: a place where practice can be articulated, discussed, tested and extended through theoretical, methodological and collective frameworks.

Revue de Paris

Revue de Paris is an editorial platform devoted to contemporary forms of thought, art and research. It contributes to the circulation of texts, interviews and other contributions concerning practices that question the conditions under which art exists today.

Within the Institute, it may provide a space for publishing, documenting and critically circulating the research undertaken around Donbat.

FoméA — World Forum on Art Economies

FoméA provides a space for reflection on the economies of art, their alternative models, their forms of circulation and their potential for emancipation from strictly market-based systems.

This reflection directly connects with the concerns of the Donbat Institute, particularly when it works to devise economic forms that are more solidarity-based, more responsible and better suited to artistic, social and collective practices.
